Sprint race information

  • There are only two categories: SSP and SBK. Riders on other motorcycle types (e.g. NAKED) may enter the sprint according to engine capacity: up to 900 cc = SSP, above 900 cc = SBK.
  • The race will be run over 7 laps. In case of time constraints (e.g. accidents), the number of laps may be reduced (e.g. to 6).
  • If an accident occurs before lap 4, the race will be restarted. Starting positions will be based on the order at the finish line of the last completed lap.
  • If an accident occurs after lap 4, the winner will be declared based on the order at the finish line of the last completed lap.
  • When you see a red flag, do not overtake, raise your hand and proceed to the finish line, where you will receive further instructions.
  • Qualification for the sprint requires a 120% time limit of the fastest rider or a minimum of 15 riders.
  • The rider must qualify with a minimum lap time of 1:59.999.
  • Qualification means setting your best lap time by the end of the third riding session – before the lunch break.
  • All riders must attend the briefing during the lunch break between 13:00 and 14:00, where further information will be provided.

Groups and Riding Sessions

Groups

Before the riding sessions, immediately after the riders’ briefing, we will divide riders into performance-based groups: D, C, B and A.

A

Group A

The fastest and most aggressive group (recommended for experienced riders).

B

Group B

A fast group for experienced track riders (with the possibility of promotion to Group A).

C

Group C

Moderate pace; overtaking is still allowed but with increased caution.

D

Group D

Training group – try not to overtake and be especially considerate of other riders.

Riding Session Information

Total track time can be up to 150 minutes if everything goes according to plan (weather, accidents, etc. may affect this).

Each session lasts 15 minutes. You ride at your own pace until you encounter a track marshal waving the chequered flag. Once you see the flag, continue at a reduced pace for the remainder of the lap and return to the paddock.
